By default, it will plot only the best lap, because that's usually the cleanest set of data to use for plotting, but sometimes it can get thrown off when there's a bogus short lap in the data (or bogus lap data in general). The usual workaround for track map plotting issues is to double-click on the track map display object, so that its properties box will appear on the right, and then change the "Draw Selected Lap" option to "All" or a specific lap number. I can send the data file to anyone willing to help. So at this point, I'm asking for help to see if we can dig into the file and figure out what went wrong in case it happens again. So something is wrong with the GPS data, I just don't see what. But when the track map is up it seems as you move through the file, the tracking dot seems to move off the screen and disappear. It's very strange since in the Motec data view program I2 everything seems normal with the file. I had to remove the track map and directly link the lap count and lap time data to info in the file, obviously it doesn't work too well. Here's a link to my Saturday video so you can see that it works well: This despite the fact that I was able to do that for previous sessions and my race on Saturday. For some reason my data overlay for my race on Sunday just will not create a track map or lap times. I've been using Race Render for about a year now and have had good success until the other day at Buttonwillow.
